RLF Celebrity Cook Off
A new addition to this year’s festival – the RLF Restaurant Celebrity Cook-Off – pits the culinary skills of 12 community personalities from around the county against each other. Their battles will take place in 6 restaurants and hotels from the county. Giving a helping hand to all our chefs will be the head chef of each restaurant – guiding our chefs to create an exciting lamb dish that diners will vote for as the winner on the night. That winning celebrity and their restaurant will go through to the next heat with the grand final taking place on Friday 30th April during the Roscommon Lamb Festival on the May Bank Holiday Weekend.
All the events in each restaurant will have a fantastic atmosphere with commentary on how the chefs are doing on the night as they cook.
This is one of the main food events that is taking place over the festival weekend which promises to be the biggest festival yet – with over 30 events taking place in food, farming, heritage and family fun.
