10am - 6pm: Lamb Festival Marquee, The Square

The Lamb Festival marquee will host handcraft demonstrations and workshops along with spinners, weavers and knitters from Roscommon and other places in Ireland. Other hand craft demonstrations will include tinsmith, woodwork, basket-making, wool hand crafts and more.

Farmers' Market: A Taste of Roscommon

10am - 6pm: Craft Marquee, Market Square

Craft tent situated at the front of the BOI is reserved
for crafters from Co. Roscommon who are in business producing high quality craftwork of different kinds.

Kilteevan Tidy Towns Cloonlarge Loop Walk

10:30am: - Kilteevan Community Center

Kilteevan Tidy Towns invites you to a relaxing, informative, wildlife experience through the boglands of Kilteevan. The walk is 5 km on the award winning Cloonlarge Loop. Terrain is flat and easy but do wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather.

2pm: Bridge near Property Registration Office

Launch of a project to survey the Jiggy. Unveiling of a sign near the bridge by the Property Registration Office. All welcome

Pallet Upcycling Competition

11am - Drop off competition entries at Lamb Festival Marquee

Sponsored by Murray's Timber, this competition has a prize fund of €500, so get out those old pallets and put your tools to work. No prior year entries please. Judging will take place at 3pm at the Lamb Festival Marquee. Connacht rugby player to present awards.

Meet at County Museum/Tourist Office in the Town Square.

A Lone Furrow - The story of Aleen Cust

8pm: Roscommon Arts Centre

Athleague and Ballygar's famous veterinary surgeon, the first female veterinary surgeon in Ireland and Britain. A dramatized account of her life and times and her fight for recognition written by Tommy Murray and produced by Tom Costello and Brigeen Fitzmaurice with Roscommon Drama Group. Early booking advisable.

9pm: Lamb Festival Marquee

Massive BBQ of delicious spring lamb cooked Brazialian style. BYOB event. Special guests our visitors from Chartrettes. Music by Dusty Bloom. The Festival committee wishes to acknowledge the sponsorship and assistance from Madden Meats, Rogue and Co, Gleesons Restaurant and Rooms, Molloys Bakery, Harrisons Café and Sisters Kitchen.
